Some say I’ll be better without you
But they don’t know you like I do
Or at least the sides I thought I knew

Cyd Charisse & Fred Astaire: The outstanding Girl Hunt dance sequence in The Band Wagon (watch it here & here) choreographed by Michael Kidd (Michael Kidd! Michael Kidd! Michael Kidd!) inspired Michael Jackson’s Smooth Criminal video & Beyonce’s Naughty Girl video.
Just tonight I realized the line Fred says about Cyd: “She was bad, she was dangerous…” is quoted in Michael Jackson’s song Dangerous: “The girl was bad, the girl was dangerous.” Fantastic! Also, this line is perfect: “She came at me in sections, more curves than a scenic railway.”
